Dr Colin Sheppard


Dr Sheppard studied Medicine at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 1976.
He studied Ophthalmology at Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital and after graduation worked there for a number of years. Colin was one of the early pioneers of phacoemulsification cataract surgery. 
He works across the full range of adult and paediatric general ophthalmology.  He also performs aviation medical ophthalmic examinations (CASA).


Dr Colin Sheppard is an Australian-based health professional. Colin is trained as an Ophthalmologist (Eye Specialist) and practices in Essendon.


Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve, often due to increased fluid pressure inside the eye.

Dr Colin Sheppard does minor procedures, such as cyst removal surgery.

Registered aviation ophthalmologist with CASA. All relevant reports and tests can be completed for pilot licenses.
